MCSD Certification Overview

Microsoft certification is an effective way of achieving the goals and advancing your career in the IT. In Information technology field, the certifications are globally recognized tools. MCSD stands for Microsoft Certified Systems Developer is an advanced level certification that signifies that the certified people can design that certified people can design enterprise development solutions by using the Microsoft tools and technologies. MCSD certification is designed for the developers that are using Microsoft Products to develop software solutions and enterprise applications. 

An MCSD for Microsoft.net candidate is required to have at least two years of experience in developing and maintaining solutions for the software applications. An MCSD certified can analyze, design and deploy development solutions by using the Microsoft tools and platforms such as Microsoft Visual basics.Net, Visual C# .Net, Visual studio .Net and .Net Framework.

 

To get the MCSD status the following four certifications are required to pass. MCSD certified persons have direct access to the Microsoft products and technical information and they also get the Certificate, MCSD logo, wallet card, and lapel pin to identify themselves. Certified people are also get the special events notifications and the invitations to the Microsoft Conferences, training sessions and the seminars that are related to the Microsoft products and technologies.

 

Core Exams: Solution Architect (1 Exam Required)
Analyzing Requirements and Defining Solution Architectures Exam code 70-100

Core Exams: (1 Exam Required) Windows Application Development

One exam is required out of the following three exams.
Designing and Implementing Desktop Applications with Microsoft Visual C++® 6.0. Exam code 70-016.
Designing and Implementing Desktop Applications with Microsoft Visual FoxPro® 6.0. Exam code 70-156.
Designing and Implementing Desktop Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic® 6.0. Exam code 70-176.
Core Exams: (1 Exam Required)

XML Web Services and Server Components Development
One exam is required out of the following three exams.
Designing and Implementing Distributed Applications with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Exam code 70-015.
Designing and Implementing Distributed Applications with Microsoft Visual FoxPro 6.0. Exam code 70-155.
Designing and Implementing Distributed Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Exam code 70-175.
One elective exam is required to pass and there are fifteen exams in the elective category.

This certification testifies your knowledge, developments skills and experience with the Microsoft Products. Being MCSD certified you can analyze the business and provide the technical solution based on the business requirement.
