Broadband Wireless Technology

Broadband internet technologies provide fast internet access to the home and corporate users.  The most common broadband transmission technologies are DSL, BPL, FTTH and Cable net. Wi-Max is an important version of the wireless broadband after Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi stands for Worldwide Interoperability For Microwave Access. Wi-Max is based on the IEEE 802.16 standards. Wi-Fi provides the facility to the home and mobile users to connect to the internet at very high speed.  Through Wi-Fi, you can connect to more places even if you are traveling.

Wi-Max is an IP based technology that delivers high speed, throughput and capacity over the existing wireless networks. It delivers the broadband wireless, anytime, everywhere and for everyone. There are has been revolutionary developments in the wireless internet technologies to support the future laptops, PC, mobile phones and other handheld devices.
