Introduction to Intranet

Intra means internal or private. Intranet is a private computer network that uses the internet technology to enable an organization to share its resources with its employees.  It is usually owned by an organization, company, university and college to share its resources to its employees and students.  It provides the internet like functionality and navigation and it provides the access to the information and resources quickly and easily.
