Physical security refers to prevent the unauthorized access and the attacks from the hackers to the devices and the data that is stored on the physical media such as hard disk, tape drive, USB drive, portable device and other storage mediums. It is the protection of the hardware devices, data, programs and the physical circumstances such as fire, theft, disasters and from the external attacks from viruses, spyware, adware, malware and hackers.
