CCSP covers the security related topics such as intrusion detection and prevention, pix firewall, VPN management, Cisco security agents, secure IOS, using IPSec technologies and integrated the security technologies to make a single security solution. The following five exams are required to pass the CCSP certification.

CCSP Certifications are valid for three years and this exam provides the recognition to the IT professionals in designing and implementing Cisco security solutions by using PIX firewalls, VPN 3000 series concentrators, IDS technologies and CiscoWorks VMS.
CCSP certified professionals are capable of implementing the multiple level underlying security solutions to the complex networks.
CCSP certified professionals can install and configure the LAN/WAN network with up to 100 routers and can provide the security solutions.
This exam covers the topics that includes VLANs, managing IP traffic with access list, establishing frame relay connections, pix firewall implementations and implementing other security solutions.
