What is Wireless Router

A wireless router is network communication device that is used to route the IP traffic across the several wired and wireless networks. It joins the multiple logically and physically different wired and wireless networks together.  It has the wireless interface and can be used in the home and office networks.  It can also be used for the internet connection sharing, networking and for providing the firewall capabilities to the network.
